About Gerald Carmody

Gerald, a Financial/Estate Planner at Granite Financial Group, serves the investment, estate and planning needs of very affluent families and owners of large privately held businesses. He brings unique perspective by focusing on the formulation and careful implementation of personalized, confidential, client centered strategies.

Gerald’s passion lies in working eye to eye with self-made owners of private companies. He credits his extensive experience and integrity to his successful client relationships and finds that clients come to rely on him for all facets of their business, estate and financial affairs, often calling to get his thoughts on numerous confidential issues as they arise.

Gerald also serves as the primary financial advisor to many of the owners of large privately held automobile stores. He works with owners who have built their stores from their bootstraps and are now anchors in their local communities. Gerald understands the often complex family and regulatory issues at hand when sorting through their unique business exit and succession issues. He also helps clients limit their liability across various business entities, through careful and custom asset protection strategies.

“At Granite Financial Group, Gerald helps affluent people make the best decisions because of their wealth”. Specifically, he helps families identify and implement strategic and tactical solutions that enable them to keep more of what they accumulate, to conserve and protect those assets and to distribute those assets with the least amount of taxes and complexity coaching around the highest and best alternatives.

Gerald and his team at Granite Financial Group offer customized cross disciplinary services to very high net worth individuals -which allows them to identify both coordination gaps and opportunities -often generating significant savings. They are a catalyst to get things done.

Gerald’s history includes serving as Director of Training and Development and Managing Principal for a very large national financial planning firm- recruiting, coaching and counseling other producers on how best to plan for their own practice as well as their client’s futures.

Gerald holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma. He enjoys buying and selling real estate for fun and profit, traveling, tennis, playing guitar, is a licensed amateur radio operator and actively involved in his local church.
