New law lets everyone enjoy the Tax-Free benefits of a Roth IRA –
even those with incomes over $100K

A tax-law change starting January 1, 2010 makes all taxpayers eligible to convert their traditional IRA or other qualified retirement plan to a Roth IRA – regardless of income. This is a tremendous tax-saving opportunity for most people, but it could prove to be a costly mistake for others.

You are invited to join Ray Griffith, CFP® for an informative public town forum. He will explain – in plain English – how the new rules work, how to take advantage of them, and the possible pitfalls. Before you jump on the Roth Conversion Bandwagon, get the facts you need to make an informed decision. (Question/answer time built into schedule.)

Learn the Benefits of a Roth IRA:
• Your retirement funds grow tax free
• You can collect tax-free income in retirement
• Pass on a lifetime of tax-free distributions to your children and/or grandchildren
• No Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs)

You will also learn:
• Why a Roth conversion isn’t the right choice for everyone
• How to spread the cost (tax) of a Roth conversation out over two years (only available in 2010)
• Why the prospect of higher taxes in the near future could make this an ideal time to convert to a Roth IRA
• A “mulligan” provision that allows you to switch back to a traditional IRA if your Roth loses value
• How a partial conversion to a Roth IRA could benefit you
• How to convert to Roth without paying taxes to do the conversion
If you own a traditional IRA, SEP, Simple IRA, 401(k), 403(b)
or 457, you should attend this forum.
